Very large organization, covering many irrelevant sectors.
Filip GEERTS is the contact of several sub-sectors (Telecom-equipment, Office Systems, Consumer electronics) of the ICT sector (that has 4 sub-sectors). There are 11 sectors.  He also runs the secretariat of the GOF (GSM Operators Forum) association, within Agoria ICT.
http://www.agoria.be/gen-en/presente/secteurs/elect/ictbody.htm
ICT includes 234 members, including corporate ones
(for example, 3 subsidiaries of Alcatel, Atos Origin, Bull, Apple, Barcos, Canon,  Coface, Dell, EADS ...). Entry level membership is about 55,000 BEF/year.
Agoria represents larger companies while Unizo is more focussed on SMEs (aka PME, MKB or KMO).
ICT SMEs (i.e. < 100 employees) are about 150, representing about 4000 jobs, over a total of about 6700 ICT SMEs representing about 80,000 jobs.

SFIB : Syndicat de l'Industrie des technologies de l'Information.
totalling:  Gross income 25 billions euros  &  100,000 jobs
and about 60 companies (Corporate, SME)
Have a positive statement on SwPat (march 11 2005), apparently a translation in French of the EICTA position. http://www.alliance-tics.com/frameset/../Kiosque/Communiques/ CPresseCII.DOC

Only 48 companies actually listed on the site (not 60).  Out of these:
 -  at least half are very large corporation, many non European
 -  16 are direct members of EICTA (so they get to vote also through the association)
